HOTEL BEACON
Set within San Francisco, Hotel Beacon functions both day and night; not only to its patrons, but to the city as well. As our team studied the site and its neighboring shipping yards along the coast, we believed it could benefit from a nearby light house. We then melded this idea with our hotel program in order to develop a building that would glow in the dark; thus giving luxury, inspiring nightlife, and serving the city as a source of light. It is a symbol for the city that operates both day and night.
